The Finance section
Within the finance section of your Smily interface, there are two reports to help you to manage your payments and finances.
- Completed payouts: displays the payouts that have already been sent to your bank account and gives details of the bookings and fees that correspond to these payouts
- Upcoming payouts: displays the future payouts to sent to your bank account and gives details of payout date, the bookings and the fees that correspond to these payouts
Completed payouts & Upcoming payouts reports
Both reports have the same format and show a list of the payments that have been / will be sent to your bank account with:
- A date filter
- The payment gateway name related to each payout
- The number of bookings corresponding to each payout
- The date of each payout
- The amount transferred to your bank account for each payout
To see more detailed information about the bookings corresponding to the payout, click on the payout. It will expand to display:
- The details of the payout
The breakdown of the payout amount by booking, with:
- The booking details
- The total price
- The payment amount corresponding to the payout
- The SmilyPay fees that applied to the payment/s
- The payout amount for the booking
- The estimated date when the payment will have arrived in your bank account
The details of your upcoming payouts could change if a booking is refunded. The upcoming payouts report shows the payout details based on the current status and payments made for each booking.
Note: Payouts from SmilyPay are made weekly every Monday. The financial reports show all the payments that will be received in each Monday payout.
Calculation of the payout amount
The Payout amount for each booking is calculated by:
[Payment amount paid online] - [SmilyPay gateway fees]
The total payout amount is calculated from the payout amount of each booking.
Payments paid outside of SmilyPay
The payouts reports only shows payouts wired to your bank account from your SmilyPay account/s. Any payments paid outside of SmilyPay will not be displayed on the payouts reports. For example, if a guest books and pays on Airbnb or if a payment is processed with Stripe.
