BookingSync allows you to use your own email address to send your notifications. The configuration needs to be done to authorize BookingSync to send emails on behalf of your own email address.
TIP: If this set-up is not part of your onboarding package, you can follow the instructions below, or ask your BookingSync customer care team to take care of it, the cost is 50€ per email address.
You'll need to add SPF and DKIM records and verify ownership of your sending domains before you can send email through your account, you can follow the instructions here to configure your email address to authorize the sending of the notifications. It's very important to follow exactly the instructions.
Tip: for some hosting providers like GoDaddy for example, you just need to enter mandrill._domainkey.yourdomain.com in TXT record name.
- Let us know the name + email address (example: "My company" <email@example.com>) you’d like to use, so we can send the verification email to this address
- When you receive the verification email with a link to click, please forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can finish configuration.
- After we confirm it's OK, you'll have your own email address in the From dropdown list of the notifications. Do not forget to select or change it.
