Rental links

If you manage several properties that share one calendar (for example, different configurations of the same rental), BookingSync offers the possibility to link the calendars. Once a group of rentals is linked, each time a booking is recorded in one of the rentals of the group, the same period is blocked on the other rentals.

For example if House A is divided into Apartment 1 and Apartment 2, you might have three rentals in BookingSync:

House A (for booking the entire property)

Apartment 1

Apartment 2

You can create rental links between the calendars so that if Apartment 1 is booked, the calendar of House A is also blocked. 

Note: this feature doesn't work for a parent-child relationship. Therefore it is not possible to configure House A as the parent and Apartments 1 & 2 as the children. If you create a rental link between all three rentals, if one rental is booked, the calendar of all of the linked rentals will also be blocked.

How to create a rental link

1. To create a rental link, go to Settings > Rental links and click on +Add Rental Links
   
2. Select the rentals for which you want the calendars to be linked
   
3. Click on Save changes

Note: when creating a rental link between two rentals, it is necessary that one of the rentals has an empty calendar - if there are already bookings in the calendar of both rentals, the rental link will not successfully block both calendars.
