Can’t login to igloohome on BookingSync/Smily
PIN codes aren’t being sent out
Setup (Simplified)
Note: Smily was formerly known as BookingSync
1. Set up your igloohome account
a. Download the igloohome app on Play Store / App Store
b. Create an account
c. Pair your lockes and set them up
2. Set up your Smily account
a. Follow instructions on Smily to set up your account
3. Connect your igloohome account to Smily
a. Apps > Visit the App Center
b. Scroll down to find the igloohome app and click on it
c. Click Install App
d. Click Authorize
e. Enter your igloohome email and password, and click Login
4. Connect your igloohome properties to Smily rentals
a. Apps > igloohome
b. Click Pair Property
c. Select the corresponding Smily rental for the igloohome property
d. Click Confirm
5. Set up the integration - Create a booking tag
a. Go to Settings > Booking Tags > + New Bookings Tag
b. Click en tab, enter :
- Name: igloohome_pin_created
- Color: Any preferred color
c. Click Save Changes
6. Set up the integration - Create a notification
a. Go to Apps > Notifications
b. Create a new notification called “Send igloohome PIN email”
c. Use the following filters for the notification:
- “Bookings with any selected tags”
1. Under “Booking tags”, select “igloohome_pin_created”
- “Confirmed bookings”
- “Not canceled bookings”
- “Only for selected rentals”
1. Under “Rentals”, select the rental properties that have igloohome locks
d. Define delivery window:
- Set early condition to 48 hours before arrival (if you want the email from Smily to go out 48 hours before the guest’s check-in time)
- Set late condition to 48 hours after arrival
e. Copy and paste the HTML template below into the “Compose message” section
f. Click Create Notification
g. Click Activate to activate the notification
7. Done - the integration has been set up for new and existing bookings.

1 - Set up your igloohome account

Follow instructions on Smily to set up your account
3 - Connect your igloohome account to Smily
Apps > Visit the App Center
Scroll down to find the igloohome app and click on it
Click Install App
Click Authorize
Enter your igloohome email and password, and click Login
You will be redirected to this page:
4 - Connect your igloohome properties to Smily rentals
Apps > igloohome
Click Pair Property
Select the corresponding Smily rental for the igloohome property and click Confirm
5 - Set up the integration - Create a booking tag
Go to Settings > Booking Tags > + New Bookings Tag
Click en tab, enter
- Name: igloohome_pin_created

FAQ and Troubleshooting
Can’t login to igloohome on BookingSync/Smily, or “Unexpected login error”
- Try refreshing the page
- Are you able to log in with the same credentials on the igloohome app?
- Try using the “Forgot password” workflow on the igloohome app. This might resolve the issue
PIN codes aren’t being sent out
- (If late reservation) If you would like to support late reservations, make sure the late condition in step 6(d) is set to something like 48 hours after arrival
- Check to see if all steps in the setup were completed correctly
- Check if the PIN code exists on the igloohome app
- As a workaround: you can create algoPIN codes on the igloohome app and send those out manually
PIN codes don’t work
- Check to see if the PIN code was used during the PIN code validity period. PIN codes only work between check-in and check-out time
- Do PIN codes generated by the app work?
Changing BookingSync settings on the igloohome app doesn’t work
- In-app features are currently not available. Please write in to support@igloohome.co to indicate your interest in this feature
