1. Install the Tyllt app on the Smily app center.
2. Authorise the connection
3. You will be redirected to tyllt.com when you can login to your account or it will create you an account automatically.
4. Once you're logged in. Click on the "My Profile" section :
5. Select the "Partner" tab:
6. When you click on "Details", you will see all your Smily settings with Tyllt. Check that the Synchronisation status indicated "Connected". If you wish to send the deposit to the guest in your notification email in Smily, you will find the generic link to add to your notification settings and you will need to unselect "Bond request email sent from Tyllt" otherwise an email will be sent by Tyllt as well:
If you want the deposit collection email to be sent by Tyllt, you can keep the "Bond request email sent from Tyllt" ticked.
If the synchronisation is broken, you can just click on the "Reconnect" button.
Creation of a new collection method for all your bookings
If you're planning to use Tyllt as a deposit collection method for all your bookings, here is the procedure you need to follow:
1. Go to "Settings" in your Smily account :
2. Go to Payments
3. Change your Collection method to "Outside Smily". Insert a Collection name including the word TYLLT (mandatory for the synchronisation to work), Collection time "Before arrival" :
Creation of a new collection method for a specific booking
If you're planning to use Tyllt as a deposit collection method just for specific bookings, here is the procedure you need to follow:
- Go to your Bookings section:
- Select the booking for which you would like to use Tyllt for your deposit collection:
- Click on "Edit booking"
- On the booking, change the collection method to "Outside Smily" and change the Collection name including the word TYLLT (mandatory for the synchronisation to work).
How do you know when your deposit has been collected?
Within your Smily account, on the booking you will see a logo "Deposit secured by Tyllt" when the deposit has been successfully collected.
Good to know
Once a booking is made, there is a delay of 30min for the deposit link to be created by Tyllt.
For now, only an account can be connected to 1 IBAN to charge the deposit. The multiple IBANs will be available end of 2024.
