How does it work?
PAP Vacances allow you to drive direct bookings on your website!
- You list your properties on the PAP Vacances website
- Travellers can see your property, availabilities and prices on PAP Vacances:
- The travellers book on PAP Vacances with a Book Now button directing to your direct website payment page:
- Your receive the booking in Smily as a direct booking with the source “PAP Vacances”
- If you’re using the commission model, at the end of each month you will pay the commission to PAP based on the check-in dates. If you’re using the One-fee model, you just pay an annual fee to list your property and you don’t pay any commission on the bookings you receive.
PAP Vacances work on 2 pricing model:
- You can use their commission model which will allow you for which they will take 12% commission (including taxes) on your reservation.
- You can use their one fee model which is an annual fee per listing allowing you to list your properties on their website (detail pricing here). The process will be the same except that they will add the logo of your company on each of your listing pages below the book now button, directing to your direct website. This will allow you to drive more direct bookings and to propose other listings to the PAP travellers.
If you’re using both the commission and one-fee model
You can use a model for some listings and the other model for other listings. You’ll need to download both apps on your Smily account and exclude in the settings of the Commission app, the listings that you want to list on the One-fee model as follow:
How to publish your listings on PAP?
1. Install the PAP application Commission if you want to use the Commission pricing model and the PAP application FORFAIT if you want to use the Annual fee model to your Smily account. Don't forget to click on the app once installed to authorise the sending of your data to PAP.
2. You will be contacted by the PAP Vacances team by email or by phone to finalise your onboarding.
4. Once validated, your listings will be live on PAP Vacances website.
3. You can personalise the settings of the app by clicking on "..." next to the app where you will be able to apply a markup for this channel and exclude listings you don't want to publish on PAP (by default, all your listings will be published).
✨PAP requirements:
- Your listings description must be available in french. ⚠️
- Your General Conditions and Privacy Policy must be available in french. ⚠️
- Properties status needs to be “instantly bookable”. ⚠️
- Company profile in Smily needs to be filled with phone number, email, point of contact etc.
- Property title without numbers and non-Latin characters.
- Complete address, including zipcode.
- Guest occupancy, number of bedrooms and bathrooms needs to be specified.
- Property size (ft² or m²) needs to be specified.
- Bedding info in each room e.g.; single bed, double bed, etc.
- Arrival instructions for the guest: check-in hours, phone number and email address.
- Prices and availability for the next 18 months (ideally).
- Capacity of at least one adult.
- Cancellation policies and terms and conditions must be filled in the Smily account.
Email notifications
Your email notification flow will be the same as the one you have set up for your direct bookings for your website.
PAP dashboard
Everything will go through the integration. You won’t have any dashboard on PAP.
Communication with clients
Please note that you can’t receive messages from clients from PAP.
Payment
Guest payment is handled by you. It's processed the same way than for your direct website.
You will need to have a Payment gateway set up on your Smily account to collect payment on PAP Vacances.
Markets
There is no limitation! You can publish all of your listings wherever their location.
Instantly bookable
Your properties need to have the status “Instantly Bookable” to be listed on PAP Vacances.
Deposit and taxes
The Property Manager is responsible for collecting the deposit and taxes.
Rental contract
Between PM and guest.
Cancellation policy
The cancellation policy applying will be the one you have set up on your Smily account.
Cancellation process
- Cancellations must be done by the traveller to you directly based on your cancellation policy and follow the process you defined on your direct website.
PAP commission
Commission is 12% including taxes, charged on rental price, taxes and cleaning fee (except city tax and upsells). You will receive a bill for payment from PAP at the end of each month for previous month bookings based on check-in dates.
PAP One-fee model
If you’re paying an annual fee per listing, the payment will be made to PAP before listing your properties during the onboarding process.
