Control whether a cleaner can see guest contact details
For account owners: decide, for each cleaner, whether they can see the guest's email address and phone number on their tasks.
Why it helps
- Smoother guest coordination. Cleaners can reach the guest directly about access or timing questions, without routing everything through the manager.
- Privacy stays under control. The setting is off by default and decided per cleaner, so contact details are shared only with the staff who need them.
- The right level of access. The guest's name is always available for identification, while sensitive contact details are shown only when you choose.
- Fewer bottlenecks on busy turnovers. Less back-and-forth means faster check-outs and cleanings.
How the setting works
A setting lets the account owner decide, per cleaner, whether that cleaner can see the guest's email and phone number on their tasks.
- The setting is off by default.
- Only a manager (account owner) can change it.
- The control appears only for cleaner users — both when inviting a new user and when editing an existing cleaner's access.
- The guest's name is always visible to cleaners. The address and other details are never shown, regardless of this setting.
The option is labeled Guest contact details visible to cleaner — Allow this cleaner to see the guest's email address and phone number.
Enable it when inviting a new cleaner
Step 1
Start inviting a new user and select the Cleaner role.
Step 2
With the Cleaner role selected, the Guest contact details visible to cleaner checkbox appears. Tick it to allow this cleaner to see the guest's email and phone number.
Step 3
Send the invitation. The cleaner will see guest contact details on their tasks once they accept.
Change it for an existing cleaner
Step 1
Open the cleaner's user access settings.
Step 2
Tick or untick Guest contact details visible to cleaner, then save.
