How to define your rental cancellation policy

You can define here the cancellation policy that will apply by default to all your properties.

To add or modify your cancellation policy, click on Manage Rental Cancellation Policy.

For each language of your BookingSync account, enter the corresponding cancellation policy text. You can use the Markdown format to style your cancellation policy. Type in the Input tab and see the result in the Preview tab. You can also add cancellation policy items to clarify them.

Don't forget to save by clicking on Submit.

To know about the Cancelation policy items

Cancelation policy items define penalty percentage based on booking's price for a given date range.

For example adding 2 items: 30 days / 100% and 90 days / 30% means there's a 100% penalty when canceling bookings from 0 to 30 days before, 30% when canceling from 30 days to 90 days before and 0% penalty when canceling before 90 days and more.

Note that BookingSync gives you the possibility to edit two different Cancellation Policy types:

• General cancellation policy: the one described here.
• Cancellation policy - per rental: in each rental > Rental Cancellation Policy tab
