This guide explains how to configure your inbox with the several channels.
Airbnb
Your account is synced with Airbnb thanks to the official connection, nothing to do, you'll see all the conversations appears in a couple of hours, and new conversation right away in your inbox.
Booking.com
If you are already connected to Booking.com with full synchronization, there should be nothing to do. The permission should have been added by default. If you see there are no conversations synced, you can ask Booking.com to check if the "Guest messages" permission has been added.
If you connect a new property, there is no choice but to sync the messages.
Vrbo
It is not possible to synchronize Vrbo's inbox through their API, nonetheless there is a workaround to get messages from Vrbo in your BookingSync / Smily inbox.
*Reservation requests are not messages in their own right, and will not be synchronized in the SMILY inbox. They must be managed from VRBO.
- Create a guest with your contact details (email address)
Mandatory fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Preferred Language
- Email address label
- Email address - Send yourself an email through BookingSync inbox
- On your email inbox, copy the BookingSync inbox sender
- On your Vrbo account, go to Account / account settings
- Paste the copied email address as the second (or third) email address
- Check on one or two listings the the email address has been synced properly.
Chose one listing, click on it to open it
Click on modify property
Click on contact information
Check the communication settings are on both email adresses
