Who is Veepee ?
Veepee (named vente-privee.com until January 2019) is a French retailer company that sells products through online flash sales. The site, that was created in 2001 was developed in an online environment to host sales of high quality designer brands only for members with discounted prices.
A few years ago, Veepee started emerging as great actor in the short-term rental industry on the French market.
Smily and Veepee started collaborating in 2021 to offer the best of vacational rentals to Veepee's users, and we hope to see your rentals on Veepee as soon as possible !

Pre-requisites to be published on Veepee
- great quality pictures (ideally 2400x1600 and 5MB maximum)
- payment gateway set up for all your rentals on your Smily's account (so you can receive payment immediately after receiving a booking on Veepee, just the way you would usually receive a payment according to your settings on Smily).
- Updated Rental agreement (for each of your rentals) and privacy policy (in your General Settings on Smily) in FRENCH
- Description in French for your rentals (Veepee only publishes on their French website for now)
- Update field "Rental management type" on your Smily account :
- Make sure your fees and taxes are properly set up and named in FR
- Keep your ammennities updated in your Smily account so that your rentals are easily searchable in specific categories
Publish your rentals on Veepee from your Smily account
- Add Veepee app on your account (from Apps Center in apps section, select App Veepee)
- You will need to accept the terms & conditions + privacy policy to publish your rentals on Veepee :
- Here are the terms and conditions to be published on Veepee :
1- Your rentals published and synchronized in one clic from Smily(no risk of double-booking)
2- Usage of your payent gateway set up on Smily
3- your Cancelation policy apply
4- Your Rental agreement and policy privacy need to be updated
5- Rental's descriptions need to be in FRENCH
6- 10% commission on the rental's price only
7- Commission will be invoiced monthly by Smily for Veepee, every month for all bookings with a check-out during the month
You don't need to sign any contract with Veepee, Smily is taking care of your rental's onboarding !
Once the app has been added to your account :
- 1. Open the app to authorize data synchronization from Smily to Veepee
- 2. Click on the 3 dots on the right bottom corner of the app, and click on Preferences:
Here you can set up :
- price increase of your choice for this app, knowing that Veepee's commission is 10%HT (on the rent price only) and this OTA asks you for a -5% discount from other OTAs for Veepee's members. PLEASE note that your rates on Veepee need to be cheaper than on other channels (except on our own website), because Veepee is a discounter site. (discount being applied on the rent only).
- rentals you want to push on Veepee (all rentals are pushed by default). You can exclude some rentals from Veepee if needed:
- Your rentals will be checked by our Smily team before being published in order to check if all pre-requisites are respected !
- IMPORTANT NOTE : please make sure your location details are properly filled on your Smily's account in the Rental's section as below, especially the Advertising Location section :
Veepee OTA by Smily
Smily created a vacational rental booking platform (OTA) for Veepee to promote to their 27 millions customers !
Banners are created to promote your rentals. Veepee's users can easily find the rental they are looking for !
We work very closely with Veepee's Marketing team in order to promote the best banners according to the season, offer and demand. Promotional banners can change regularly, up to once a week.
Your rentals will be searchable by destination, but also by ammenities (ie: swimming pool, garden, etc.)
