On your Website App in your BookingSync account, you can fill out the SEO fields in several pages in order to improve your website’s SEO. This will especially allow you to be better promoted on Google search pages. Here is where to find those SEO fields :

• Titles and descriptions on website’s pages
• Categories
• Rentals (click Actions > Edit SEO)
• Destinations

The slug is the part of the URL which helps to identify the specific page and ideally it needs to be very easy to read. Ideally, it should explain easily the content of the page. For example : if you have a page called “Services” the ideal slug would be « services ». The slug is merely a short description of what your page is about.

Page title is the title of your page, for instance if you have a page for your Services, the page title will be Services and the description could be something like Our services or Services offered by *your business name* or About our services. Once again, those are examples, you can decide yourself what to write and it will be used by Google for SEO.

The description simply corresponds to a description with more details than the title, for pages, rentals, destinations, etc…

Here are other ways you can use in order to improve user experience and SEO on your website :

• Create a blog > you can for instance use Wordpress, and we will be able to link it to your BookingSync website.
• Create informative pages about your services, activities around your rentals’ area, etc… for example : « Hiking tracks around our village », « Water activities », « Couples’ activities around your apartment», « What to do with children » , and share about the most common and famous locations around your rentals, etc.
• Manage your social medias and post pictures and articles with a link to your website, to improve numbers of website visitors.
• Organize marketing campaigns with discount codes to improve your visibility. Those campaigns can be managed by e-mail, on your social media, or in partnership with any other entity you are linked to in the vacation rental’s industry (restaurants, Tourist Office, city hall, etc…).
