How long does the initial data syncing take?
Once you complete the integration steps, your reservations and rentals data may take up to 2 hours to fully sync into Duve.
How long does it take for data to come through once a new booking is completed?
Synchronization is instant and constantly syncing from your system. (It can take up to 20 min for a new reservation to appear in your Duve account)
Will anything be sent to my guests upon syncing ?
No. Nothing will be turned on automatically when you sync your account. You will be able to manually turn on tools.
Which information will be sent to BookingSync from Duve?
In the Notes section of your Reservation on Duve you will see the Notes coming from BookingSync. You can here only edit the field "BookingSync Notes". Your information will be synced back to BookingSync. The other windows are locked as this information comes from BookingSync:
- “BookingSync notes from BookingSync” corresponds to the booking comments
- “General notes from BookingSync” corresponds to the booking notes
- “Guest notes from BookingSync” corresponds to the client notes
Which kind of sync is implemented with BookingSync?
It is a 2-way sync between BookingSync and Duve, meaning that information such as: active rentals and bookings client email, client phone, expected check-in time and expected check out time will be synced on both apps in case there is a new data or a change.
The integration I'm benefiting from is currently on 1-way sync. How to switch to 2-way sync?
If you connected your Duve account before the 2-way sync was supported:
- You need to go to the Settings in Duve
- Turn on the Enable two way connection
- Click on Save
- Then click on the Authorize button
This will redirect you to BookingSync app to approve the required permissions for the 2-way synchronization to work
How often does Duve read/write data from/to BookingSync API ?
Live update, meaning the data updates instantaneously
