A direct integration between Nuki and BookingSync has been built to ease and automate the way you give guests access to your properties.
- Once you have bought your Nuki devices and installed them on your doors, go to the Apps section of your BookingSync account:
- Click on Visit the App Center:
- Search for the Nuki App page and click on Install App
- You will be redirected to a Request for access page that you need to Authorize.
- Then you will be redirected to the Nuki web dashboard where you can connect to your account:
Please note that if you don't have an account yet, you need to go to the Nuki app on your smartphone and activate the "Nuki web" feature:
- Once you're logged in on your account, go to the Short-term rental section:
- Select Smily among the list:
- Enter your Smily login details:
- Select the listings you would like to connect:
- Connect the right device to each listing:
Booking will start being visible 7 days before the check in date. Example here:
Connecting Nuki if you use CheKin or Rental Ninja
Please note that if you use CheKin for registering your guests and verifying their identity, you can add Nuki on BookingSync to connect your accounts but you should disable all notifications (from Nuki as well as from BookingSync - see next articles) since CheKin will be the one sending the code and the access instructions to your guests after verifying their identity.
Also, if you use CheKin + Rental Ninja, we advise not to install the Nuki app on BookingSync. Indeed, Nuki will send for each booking an entry code that BookingSync will store on the booking's details and Rental Ninja is fetching this code to display it on the Guest App. If you use CheKin, it means that you want their system to validate your guests identity before giving them access to your property so it's better to leave them handling the communication.
