Which settings are required on Nuki?

Connect properties

When you have successfully logged in, please click on the left side in the menu on “SHORT-TERM RENTAL” and on “Connect now” 

There you will find the connection with BookingSync and you simply need to click on the “Link” button below the BookingSync logo to launch the synchronization of your accounts:

You will then see the list of all your properties managed on BookingSync. Click on the properties where you have a Nuki Smart Lock installed to launch the connection for those between Bookingsync and Nuki. For the selected properties, bookings will be synchronized within 1 hour maximum from BookingSync to Nuki:

For your properties that are equiped with a Nuki device, you need to choose the “Device” you want to connect your property with. For all “connected listings”, future bookings will automatically be imported from BookingSync to your Nuki account.

Then you will need to apply for each property the settings recommended below :

By default, Nuki will send out an invite email for downloading the Nuki App and get instructions and code to access the property to you and your guests.

In order for you to 100% keep an eye on the communication sent to your guests and also for not obliging your guests to download the Nuki app, Nuki implemented the sending of the door code to be sent to BookingSync so that you can add this information to your BookingSync notifications! For each booking, a unique code will be generated that guests need to type on the Keypad installed on your door. We will explain you below how to set up your BookingSync notification but please note that the following settings will have to be changed on Nuki per property:

• Date of dispatch: this will set the date when the door key code will be generated and sent to BookingSync  
• Recipient of the invitation email: "Only me" (so that your guests don’t receive emails from Nuki directly - instead the access instructions will be included in your BookingSync notifications if you decide for this option)
• By disabling the sending of an invitation to the Nuki App by Nuki, you will need to select the usage of the Keypad (pad on which guests can simply type the code sent to them - to prevent them having to download the Nuki app)
• Continuous mode for check-in: this setting is about the Nuki Opener (intercom/device you can install on the door of a building). The time set here will define the delay during which the door can be opened by simply pushing the button (no integration is built nor required with BookingSync for this device)
