PayPal Express Set-Up

To accept PayPal payments though your Smily account, you need to set-up the connection.

Generate the API information in PayPal

To create the needed PayPal Express information follow these steps:

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
    

2. Clic on Profile on top of the page, then Account Settings.

   

3. Clic on My selling tools on the left side.

   

4. On the API access line, clic on Update.

   

5. In the section NVP/SOAP API integration, clic on Request API credentials.

   

6. Leave Request API signature ticked and clic on Agree and Submit.

   

7. Your information is now available. In order to see your API username, API password and signature, clic on Show on each line.
   
8. Leave this window open while you configure your BookingSync account.

Integrate your PayPal informations in BookingSync

1. In your BookingSync account, go to the Settings > Payments section.

2. In the Accept PayPal paragraph, clic on New PayPal Express payment Gateway

   

3. Enter the required information:
   • Name: internal name for the payment gateway. Ex: PayPal name of my owner
   • API username: the one got in the previous step 7
   • API password: the one got in the previous step 7
   • Signature: the one got in the previous step 7
   • Supported currencies
4. Clic on Add PayPal Express payment gateway

Don't forget to assign the payment gateway to your rentals in the Private tab.
