Supported Payment Gateways

Smily supports 2 major payment gateways to facilitate your online transactions. Stripe and SmilyPay are SCA supported and payments are authenticated using 3DS2 whenever necessary.

You can integrate multiple payment gateways in your Smily account if needed. So if you wish to assign different payment gateways to different properties, this can easily be achieved.

Payments can be processed with the following credit/debit cards: Visa &  MasterCard

Supports all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country

Countries and currencies supported



Payouts currently only available in EUR

Pricing

Payment by European card:

  • classic card: 1.4% + 0.30€
  • commercial card (“corporate”): 2.95% + 0.30€

 

Payment by non-European card:

  • classic card: 2.95% + 0.30€
  • commercial card (“corporate”): 3.5% + 0.30€

In EU:

1.5% + 0,25€ for EEA cards

2.5% + 0,25€ for UK cards

3.25% + 0,25€ for non-European cards.

 

In the UK:
1.5% + £0.20 for UK cards

2.5% + £0.20 for EEA cards

3.25% + £0,25 for non-European cards.

How to get setup

Contact us to get started with the enrollment process
  1. Create an account on their site here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/register
  2. Connect your Stripe account to your BookingSync account.
    Process is described here.

About refund

It's not possible to refund with SmilyPay

 You can refund in one click the amount of your choice. The refund will credit the card used by the customer.

Good to know

This is Smily's own payments solution. At the moment, SmilyPay is available only for our customers with bank accounts that can provide an IBAN, and with rentals located in the eurozone.

Stripe is quick to setup and enables you to easily make payouts to multiple accounts

 

 

 


PayPal

It is also possible to integrate PayPal Express with Smily, however automated payments are not possible using PayPal. This means that customers paying online via your PayPal account are redirected to a PayPal payment page for their payment to be processed. 

For automated payments via Booking.com, one of the above two payment gateways are necessary - this service is not available using PayPal.
