Stripe Set-Up

To start accepting credit card payments though Stripe, you need to set-up the connection.

Get your Stripe API key

To get the needed Stripe information, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Stripe website and log in to your account.
2. Clic on Developerson the top right
3. Then click on API keys
4. Then click on Reveal production key
5. Click on reveal
6. Click on the API key to copy it. It's now on your clipboard!
   
   

Integrate your Stripe informations in Smily

1. In your Smily account, go to the Settings > Payments section.
2. In the Accept Credit Card paragraph, clic onNew credit card payment Gateway

    

3. Select Stripe
   

    

4. Enter the required information:
   • Name: internal name for the payment gateway. Ex: Stripe + name of my owner
   • Secret key: paste the one you got on previous step 6
   • Supported currencies: the currencies used in Smily (make sure they are compatible with Stripe)
   • Accepted Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
5. Click onAdd credit card payment gateway
6. You will be directed to Stripe to connect with Smily via Stripe Connect. Select the account to connect and then click connect.
7. You will be directed back to Smily where you will see a message to let you know that your Stripe account has been added
   
8. Don't forget then to go back to the payments settings to Verify that your configuration is OK.

Don't forget to assign the payment gateway to your rentals in the Private tab.
