In this article, we will explain how to manage your Vrbo settings on this page
- Go to the Apps section and click on the Vrbo app
- On the right hand side of each account email, you'll find a Settings icon. Click on it to access the Vrbo settings of this account. It is also the screen displayed when you add a new account (clicking on Connect additional accounts)
- The settings page opens and you can change the following information

Send booking notification to clients for invoice payments: if selected, the guest will receive a message whenever he requires an invoice payment.

Allow invoice payment in OLB process: if selected, the guest will have the option on Vrbo to book online but requesting an invoice before doing the payment. Note that the booking is fully confirmed in this case, except if the traveler refuses to pay according to your rental agreement.

Allow credit card payment in OLB process: if selected, the guest will have the option to directly pay online with his credit card to confirm the booking during the Vrbo process. The payment is processed through the payment gateway recorded in BookingSync.
Note : FeWo (Vrbo in Germany) only accepts VISA and Mastercard cards

Asyncronous payments enabled: if ticked, reservation will be always confirmed whether or not payment can be captured.
- If the box is not ticked: when payment gets challenged - it creates a tentative booking. You get the chance to contact the guest to collect payment. If payment is not collected or booking manually confirmed, the reservation is automatically cancelled after expiration of the tentative.
- If the box ticked: when payment gets challenged, reservation is automatically confirmed anyway. You need to reach out to the guest to collect the payment outside of Vrbo (you can use BookingSync's payment link).

Expose reviews: if selected, the reviews collected thanks to BookingSync will be exposed on your Vrbo listings.

Show exact location: if selected, the exact location of the properties will be shown in the public page of the listings.

Tentative bookings expire in X days: Invoice bookings, even if confirmed, are created in your BookingSync calendar as tentative. This setting defines how long does the tentative last before expiring.
- Adult Age: defines the maximum age between what is considered as a child and what is considered as an adult. This setting is by default set to 18.

Other remarks:
- When "Allow credit card payment in OLB process" is ticked, it is mandatory that all your listings have the instantly bookable status. That means:
- a payment gateway connected
- Rental Agreement added
- Rental cancellation policy added
- Privacy policy added
- check the box: "Instantly bookable once published" in the Base tab of the rental.
- If you wish to receive payment in other ways that your payment gateway (for exemple wire transfer or payment terminal), you need to:
- check the box "Allow invoice payment in instant booking process"
- uncheck the box "Allow credit card payment in instant booking process"
