This is where you can add and manage your recipients. More information about this feature here.
Layouts
Layouts include 2 types of notifications Internal and Branded email which you can Show, Edit and Destroy.
- An Internal email will show a simple set up without your logo. You can use for example for notifications to warn you that you have a new booking, or any internal communication in general
- A Branded email will show your logo and the information about your company. These are for external communication, with your guests or your owners for example.
There is also an option to Add a New Layout. When adding a new layout you would need to fill in the name of the layout and HTML window where you can add your custom layout.
Attachments
Attachments view includes the name of the attachment, notification name, rentals count, and options to show, edit and destroy the attachment. You can also Add New Attachment. When adding a new attachment you need to add the name of the attachment.
Example of Generic Notification
Let's take for example Review Request notification.
It has 3 filters Confirmed Booking and Not Canceled Bookings to ensure that as soon as the booking is confirmed and not canceled the notification will send and Require Client Email so you don't get a stuck notification in case the guest didn't give an email address.
Delivery Window has got Early Condition and Late Condition. The early condition has got a few time triggers that you can use.
In this case we want to ask the guest for a review after the stay but not weeks after as we want a fresh memory of their incredible stay. We would then use 1 day after departure as Early Condition and 7 days after departure as Late Condition.
To sum up, this notification set up translates to : if all the conditions set up in the filters are correct 1 day after departure, the notification will be sent but never later than 7 days after departure.
Please note the notification is only sent once except for:
- Contract (experimental) filter that will trigger once the booking is confirmed and can be triggered again if the booking is canceled or updated.
