How to connect a rental?

In this article:

• Create a new listing on Airbnb
• Connect an imported listing from Airbnb
• Connect an already existing listing on BookingSync to your Airbnb account

Create a new listing on Airbnb

Create a new listing to a connected Airbnb account, in case you don't have any connected Airbnb account yet please refer to this article.

1. Drag and drop your BookingSync properties from the left side to the right side to the grey zone "Drop a BookingSync rental here to synchronize with Airbnb" for new and existing listings.
   
2. Update the listing settings in the Airbnb app in BookingSync, by clicking on change settings. Here you will find:
• the type of sync: full sync or sync rates and availabilities (limited)
• the cancellation policy: You can choose between Flexible, Moderate, Strict, Super Strict 30 and Super Strict 60 + non-refundable  - Details at https://www.airbnb.com/home/cancellation_policies - Careful that super_strict cancellation policies cost 5% commission instead of 3%.
• instant booking allowed category
• the min advance notice (Use inquiry instead of instant booking if the booking starts less than x hours before midnight of the reservation's start date)
• the number of changeover days
• Special offer sync type
• the house rules
3. Make sure there is no warning such as content issue to resolve > if needed resolve content issue

Your listings will be live right away!!

Connect an imported listing from Airbnb

In order to import your Airbnb listings into your BookingSync account please refer to the following article.

Once your listing is imported from your Airbnb account into your BookingSync account,  follow the steps below to connect it:

1. Once the listing is published in your BookingSync account you can go back to your BookingSync Airbnb app and connect the listing
2. Update the listing settings in the Airbnb app in BookingSync, by clicking on change settings. Here you will find:
   • the type of sync: full sync or sync rates and availabilities (limited)

Connect an already existing listing on BookingSync to your Airbnb account

In order to connect an already existing listing on your BookingSync account to connect it to an already existing Airbnb listing:

1. Drag and drop your BookingSync properties from the left side to the right side corresponding to your Airbnb listing
   
2. Update the listing settings in the Airbnb app in BookingSync, by clicking on change settings. Here you will find:
   • the type of sync: full sync or sync rates and availabilities (limited)
   • the cancellation policy: You can choose between Flexible, Moderate, Strict, Super Strict 30 and Super Strict 60 + non-refundable  - Details at https://www.airbnb.com/home/cancellation_policies - Careful that super_strict cancellation policies cost 5% commission instead of 3%.
