Smily has upgraded the photo synchronization with Airbnb to prevent duplicates and improve room assignment accuracy
🔹 Following an improvement we’ve just brought to Smily, you can now assign a room to photos, which allows you to enable the Airbnb Photo Tour directly from Airbnb. This update ensures that your pictures are not duplicated on Smily and do not override any room assignments you have already set on Airbnb
Important update: Smily now allows you to assign photos to a room, which is mandatory to enable the Airbnb Photo Tour🔹 You must still enable the Photo Tour on Airbnb, as full support for all room types is not yet available🔹 This update ensures Smily does not override or erase existing room assignments made on Airbnb

🔹 Note for Other Room Types:
Rooms such as Bathrooms, Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Balconies/Patios, Offices, Hallways, and other miscellaneous spaces must be assigned directly in Airbnb to enable the Photo Tour. Smily will sync these photos back correctly without overriding or creating duplicates, but PMs cannot assign these room types from Smily yet.
🔧 How to Manage Photo Assignments
1️⃣ Go to the PMS → Rental section → Photos tab
2️⃣ Open the listing you want to manage
3️⃣ Assign photos to supported room types (Bedrooms or Living Rooms)
4️⃣ Changes are automatically synced to Airbnb
📝 Notes
🔹 Airbnb may reorder photos due to internal logic or A/B testing — this is expected
🔹 If duplicates reappear or something seems off, report it immediately
📝 Good to Know
🔹 Future updates will support Bathrooms and additional room types
🔹 Once a photo is synced, reassigning or editing in Smily does not create duplicates on Airbnb
🔹 PMs can now fully manage room assignments without worrying about syncing issues
