Smily has improved photo synchronization with Airbnb to reduce duplicates and improve room assignment management.
πΉ You can now assign supported room types to photos directly in Smily, which helps structure your content before activating the Airbnb Photo Tour.
πΉ The Airbnb Photo Tour must still be enabled from Airbnb, as full support for all room types is not yet available.
πΉ This update ensures that future synchronizations do not create duplicates or override existing supported room assignments.
β οΈ Important β Existing Photo Tours
If a Photo Tour was already configured on Airbnb before the connection or before this improvement, duplicates or incorrect photo order may still occur.
β‘οΈ In this case, you must first:
βοΈ Ensure all desired photos are correctly uploaded and ordered in Smily
βοΈ Confirm this to Smily Support
π Our team can then clean the existing Photo Tour and reorder photos correctly on Airbnb.
β Best Practice for New Connections or Resynchronizations
To avoid duplicates in the future:
1οΈβ£ Make sure all photos are uploaded and in the correct order in Smily
2οΈβ£ Delete the existing Photo Tour and room-assigned photos on Airbnb
3οΈβ£ Launch a synchronization from Smily
4οΈβ£ Recreate the Photo Tour on Airbnb using the photos sent by Smily

Rooms such as Bathrooms, Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Balconies/Patios, Offices, Hallways and other spaces must still be assigned directly on Airbnb to complete the Photo Tour.
Smily will sync the photos correctly, but these room types cannot yet be assigned from Smily.

3οΈβ£ Upload and organize your photos
4οΈβ£ Assign supported room types where relevant
